Since launching in 2021, the Mobility Access Fund has provided over $1.5 million in transit fare to Indianapolis nonprofits, helping thousands of residents access essential services through public transportation.
The IndyGo Foundation's Mobility Access Fund has reached a major milestone, surpassing $1.5 million in transit fare distributed to local nonprofits since the program's inception in 2021.
The fund partners with over 100 nonprofit organizations across Indianapolis to provide bus fare to individuals who rely on public transit to access healthcare, employment, education, and other critical services.
"Transportation should never be a barrier to opportunity," said Emily Meaux, Executive Director of IndyGo Foundation. "The Mobility Access Fund ensures that the people who need transit the most can access it."
