As Indianapolis prepares for the Purple Line Bus Rapid Transit, the IndyGo Foundation explores how improved transit infrastructure strengthens neighborhoods and expands access to opportunity.
The upcoming Purple Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) route promises to transform how Indianapolis residents move through the city, connecting communities along the corridor to jobs, education, and essential services.
The IndyGo Foundation is working alongside community partners to ensure that the benefits of improved transit infrastructure reach everyone, particularly those in underserved neighborhoods along the route.
"Transit investment is community investment," said Jennifer Pyrz, President & CEO of IndyGo. "The Purple Line will open doors for thousands of residents who depend on reliable, frequent service."
