The IndyGo Foundation has awarded bus fare grants to 136 local nonprofits to help break down transportation barriers across Indianapolis — and is celebrating at a Transit Equity Day event on February 4th.
The IndyGo Foundation is proud to announce that we have awarded bus fare grants to 136 local nonprofits, helping to break down transportation barriers that prevent Indianapolis residents from accessing services and opportunities across our city.
Our grantee partners span social services, health, education, and community development — organizations working every day to ensure that transportation is never the reason someone misses a job interview, a medical appointment, or a chance to move forward.
We'll be honoring these nonprofit partners at our Transit Equity Day Celebration on February 4th, commemorating the legacy of Rosa Parks and the ongoing work to ensure transit is accessible to all.
